I started my Real Estate career at a small school called Hall Institute of Technology and ended up getting my certificate in architectural design. Later I attended New England Institute of Technology and received an associates degree in architectural structural technology. Since then I've had my real estate appraisers license, my construction deleading license, taken many classes on different aspects of real estate and currently have all 3 important license's including my contractors license, Realtor's license and fishing license. I started out my real estate career buying a duplex in Mendon in 1993. I rented one side out and lived in the other side with for about 13 years. I ended up splitting the duplex into condos and selling the rental side at a perfect time in 2006 when the market started going sour. I sold the other side in 2008 and bought 2 unlivable houses in Bellingham. Since 2004 I have personally bought, rehabbed and sold homes in Bellingham, Mendon, Milford and Whitinsville which was a ton of work but also a lot of fun and loads of education. Most of the work was done by myself except for jobs hired out. I just recently completed a house that was almost burnt down. This house had to be torn down to studs and almost totally rebuilt. Since 2004 I have completed the following: private septic systems, framing, chimney and fireplaces, kitchen design, bathrooms, all kinds of tile work, doors, windows, decks, additions, metal and asphalt roofs, siding, plumbing, electrical, hard wood floors, stairs, stone walls, driveways, basements finished, pools taken out and filled, landscaping, heating systems installed, cement walkways and more cleaning / demolition then you can imagine! Over the years I've learned a lot of techniques to make almost every aspect of real estate easier and less expensive that include completing Short Sales, work with mortgage companies, inspectors, appraisers, buyers and sellers.  I've designed kitchens, bathrooms, made a home more desirable to a buyer and seller on a thin budget and have experience in buying distressed properties.  I've experienced all sides of real estate instead of just knowing how to fill out paperwork and making a sale come together.  Let me know if I can help with any of your buying or selling needs.
